In 50 years of following the Bears, this was one of the worst coaching debacles I had seen. The coach took out his

best quarterback in order to discipline him for being involved in a bar fight to defend one of his team mates. And the team decided to play a NO SHOW for 3 quarters...

That is the beauty of college football. Team psychology which makes any given team capable of beating any other team no matter what the Rankings...

No question the Vols were the better team for the first 3 quarters. But, I wouldn`t quite sell the Bears for a washed out team as yet...
