Alongside Rolls-Royce plc and e.Digital Corp, makers of the eVUTM media player, The IFE Alliance are another industry leader working with Mezzo to create the best team to deliver handheld IFE solutions for all airline requirements: short haul or long haul; complimentary service or ancillary profit generator; replacing an existing IFE system or upgrading its capability.

e.Digital announced that it received a delayed 1250 unit order from its Asian contract manufacturer and has delivered the units to its customer digEcor. The Company expects to recognize $713,000 of revenue associated with this delivery in the quarter ending December 31, 2006. e.Digital also announced it has received over $1 million in new orders for eVU and eVU accessories. The majority of the new orders, being built by e.Digital’s U.S.-based contract manufacturer, are expected to ship to eVU customers in this quarter ending December 31, 2006. 

Whether edig capitilizes on the eVU or not remains to be seen; but I like the company edig is associating with. Now if any of the other issues, such as patent infringement, eVU in the Hospitality/Hospital/Medical etc, comes to light, I will even be happier.
