digital voice recorder devices:
5491774....Issue date: Feb 13, 1996
is a collective of all the e.Digital patents...the focus of that patent entails the process of many patents.
How will it measure against .....
(6975912...Issue date: Dec 13, 2005)
(former 6289253....Issue date: Sep 11, 2001)
Sony Corporation....referenced e.Digital
Prior art relations...Citations e.Digital acknowledged in it's application process...as well as Referenced by companies acknowledging e.Digital. . The reference list for digital voice recorder devices is long for the up front claims....However, if you tally up the reference list of all associated patents and the different realms they represent....the list gets very long.

lets look at the claim of removable memory....
For removable memory...Socket Communications, Inc...6863557...Issue date: Mar 8, 2005...multi plug stack of flash modules...reference the e.Digital prior art of removable memory.
If you click the 6863557 link, it will give you the prior art of Socket Communications application process. If e.Digital is to look at removable memory in a broad sense...the Citations list of Socket Communications will be the one they will have to contend with...which may be larger than what Socket acknowledge.
Lots of claims...which one do they start with?
