in a first for the low cost airline

industry, the carrier will offer

personal, hand-held inflight

entertainment players with the very

latest comedy, music, sports and

kids’TV programmes.

Having signed an agreement with

Mezzo Movies, the companies

piloted the service on a number of

routes and will now roll out the

Mezzo Players across the airline’s

network.

The brand new entertainment

experience, pictured above, and

available to hire from £5, enables

passengers to watch over 50 TV

programmes, 50 music videos or

listen to 100 CD albums through

complimentary headphones.

TV entertainment includes Little

Britain, The Office, The Vicar of

Dibley, Planet Earth, Footballer’s

Wives, as well as The Simpsons.

Music includes albums from

Nelly Furtado, Pink, Scissor Sisters,

Lilly Allen, Nina Simone, Ray

Charles, Miles Davis and covering
