Yep, I do agree that the information is not difficult to find, but the layers to which digital data is sent from point A to point B is complex.  I have to deal with some of it when audio engineers are presenting nutty stuff that musicians will look at and say,"Why does that have so many buttons."   In my world, that's our starting point.  Not a lot of tech speak or knowledge until they enter the world of home recording.

I prefer to stick to guitars, they have fewer parts and make noise without electricity.
