I have to say that I'm a little flabergasted by that one position - coordination with suppliers/customers, logistics, etc. - and only specifying a need for an AA degree. WTF? I hate to be so critical, but do these guys have a clue as to the importance of this task? Are they THAT impressed with the performance with others on board possessing only an AA? And why can't that person, or someone else already on board (e.g., RP) handle this, since they already know the contacts, etc.? "Flabergasted" isn't a strong enough word. Hire someone that's qualified, and pay them accordingly, if you're going to turn over this task - probably THE most important (administrative) task for the company at this pivotal point - to someone new. Don't hand it to some low paid (transient), under-educated, inexperienced, probable UCSD student (hopefully, otherwise it'll be some probable under-achiever). Look at it this way: if they bring on someone that's marginally capable (as they seem to be advertising for), and they FU, what would be the impact? Devastation, most likely, IMO. Cripes!

And as long as I'm bitching and moaning, can anyone here believe the trading action last week - a week of probably the best news-bits this company has ever had? Two of them! Simply amazing IMO. Tons of volume, nice rise (leaks, or just Long's anticipating qtr-end news?) before the GREAT news (from a POTENTIAL standpoint), only to fall back. Unbelieveable, to some extent, though I recognize that there were some caveats on the IFE front and the dollars/quantity isn't THAT big, and they're only (finally) kicking off on the IP front. I guess I just get too hung up on where we've been before (and I'm only talking 50 cents +) compared to today with this news.

I guess I shouldn't be upset - at all. As you KNOW, I'm out of EDIG now (all in PTSC) and hope to get back in at some point "soon", and at this PPS it'll be alot better for me. But I'm "feelin'" for ya'all, as I'd be (am?) dismayed. But the future just got a helluva lot brighter.

Refering back to the beginning of this post, I sure hope they bring someone on that far exceeds their specified qualifications.

I think I KNOW these things! (I KNOW my opinions).
