As to the Real Estate question of how many would handle a multiple transaction......

A listing agent is and only works for the seller, an agent with a buyer only works for the buyer. Now a realtor who has been in the business for many years would likely handle the seller and let an associate handle the negotiation for the buyer, so that no conflict of interest is possible. The other agent would do it as a favor or the listing agent may give the other agent a small commission.

The legal aspect in the real estate business has become very complicated in terms of what they can state to a potential client, disclosure of property defects and many other areas that sometimes become major issues.

Those that handle both sides of the complete transaction are not following proper principles and an injustice to both parties and in fact I believe it is illegal in some states to handle both sides of the transactions.
