Ok, I know it is your fav subject, but your list + Toshiba + my Fuji and a vacant NEC is the PTSC J5 or current MMP license holders for PTSC's patents. All except NEC would seem to be valid based solely on category(s) of product. The good news there is all but 2 have settled and paid more in two years than EDIG has ever seen in revenue.

Maybe these mean ole copy cats just nick Woody's stuff. Bad kitties. If ATCO files against these same companies, we know we have a conspiracy, maybe we will need to bring back our super secret black 'coppers.

I guess in the CE world, the number of major players and all the categories they play in can be similar. Unfortuanately, this is also one of the primary complaints from the patent reform folks....too few deep-pocketed brands with exposure in most product categories. Once you get past the big guys, the sales volume (potential $$$) falls off pretty fast.

My guess is DM will have their hands full, but they, IMO, would never have taken on EDIG if they did not see large dollar signs.
