Still, I don`t think the iPod monopoly necessarily gives Apple ownership of the developing video download market.

Are the current DMPs a fad, a trend, doomed? Don`t forget the emerging cell phone + DMP market. Why carry two hunks-o-junk when one will do both tricks? Add a Blackberry type internet / email interface?

If you read the CES trades, lots of money will be thrown into this segment as it will allow new players into the market and create a mega category, if successful.
