NEW YORK (Reuters) - Qualcomm Inc. (NasdaqGS:QCOM - News) said on Tuesday that a U.S. federal jury had found it infringed three patents held by Broadcom Corp.(NasdaqGS:BRCM - News) in the latest of their ongoing legal disputes.

Qualcomm said the jury in the case held in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in Santa Ana had awarded Broadcom $19.6 million in damages.

Qualcomm said it would file post trial motions and depending on the outcome of those motions would appeal the case.
