Maybe it's not yet news to the general public, it is news, as you note, to those paying attention. From where we were last year in PPS and business progress, anyone paying attention certainly has witnessed steady and continued efforts moving forward with results.

Many stated that the move from Pat Nunally to engaging a IP legal team would signal significant undertakings. Now, after telling shareholders they have targeted many potential infringers they have stated they "expect patent enforcement actions to commence this quarter".

That is significant, imo.

Enforcement actions have yet to commence. This statement indicates an advancement as a result of over a year of due diligence. For those paying attention, this looks to be the first move to exploit the technology that attracted investors in the first place.

"Addressing e.Digital’s efforts with Duane Morris LLC to monetize its flash memory-related patent portfolio, Blakeley commented, “Our management team, with the assistance of intellectual property (IP) veteran, Pat Nunally, has been working diligently with patent enforcement counsel, Duane Morris to exploit our portfolio. We are very encouraged by the technical and legal development of our portfolio and expect patent enforcement actions to commence this quarter.”
