VLADIVOSTOK, FEBRUARY 17, (RIA Novosti`s Anatoly Ilyukhov) - The first Tupolev Tu-204-300 long-range passenger airliner has completed its certification flight along the Moscow-Vladivostok route on Thursday. This plane is now flying back to Moscow.
Talking to RIA Novosti here today, people at the Vladivostok Avia company`s press center noted that the fully-loaded Tu-204-300 was carrying 45 specialists, who are analyzing the performance of all onboard systems. The airliner`s fuel-efficiency and commercial-efficiency levels will also be specified during the flight.
The Tu-204-300 will be certified completely in the near future, subsequently entering service with Vladivostok Avia.
All in all, four Tu-204-300 aircraft will be delivered to Vladivostok in line with the relevant contract.
This new Russian plane`s economy-class and business-class compartments feature greater leg-room, as well as better interiors. Tu-204-300 interiors consist of up-to-date materials, boasting more comfortable and advanced Russian-made arm-chairs all the same.
The Tu-204-300 also has its own entertainment center featuring a 12-channel audio-system.
Its state-of-the-art kitchens make it possible to heat food for passengers. The new Russian airliner boasts numerous other advantages for comfortable long-range flights.
