This is the conference I was referring to the other day. I couldn`t find it at the time but remembered it was in Hamburg Germany. We may have to wait until then to find out more about the second generation Digeplayer. Then again we may find out at the March 8th WAEA conference when the topic is lightweight embedded IFE.

This is what I posted on Monday evening.

My interpretation of this statement.

``we are enhancing the digEplayer to expedite the content logistics process and expand customer transaction options. These enhancements are expected to enable APS/Wencor to support larger orders from existing and new airline customers as well as position them to land IFE business from the major carriers.”

Wireless content updates and credit card readers installed into the DigEplayers. I think this is the next version that APS / Wencor will demonstrate in the upcoming conference scheduled in April....(looked for the background on this conference but came up empty. Think it was scheduled April 7 in Hamburg Germany. Made reference to the second generation portable digeplayer.)
