that if/when our dreams are realized and I must keep my promise to host the all expenses paid "The First and Last Annual, Powered by EDigital Golf Tourney and Clambake" at Torrey Pines, home of the 2008 United States Open, all here will be euphoric at finally seeing a "payoff" for our time and investment but a sense of well being and good will towards all those we have gotten to know on this board (with a few exceptions as Wolfy has pointed out).....

I fully intend to keep my pledge but will be hardpressed to have my heart in it if the attendees, you guys, are bringing "guns" for use on your fellow "EDiggers" rather than golf clubs to use on the course.

Rather than joy and a positive outlook it will be a chore with no pleasure in it.

 However, if, as I suspect, all disagreements and bad feeling will be pushed aside at the culmination of our common bond and we all look forward to putting a face to a name we have known for years for a few days of celebration then I will be happy to oblige all by working hard, with fervor, to insure the "tournament" comes off.

Even Okie will be invited if he drops his ridiculous 22 handicap. Hell, I will even invite Wolfy and one other poster who feels I have nothing to offer.
