That's pretty much it.  They tried first to settle then filed and the trial by jury usually goes in favor of the patent holder from what I've read and the judgements usually more punitive.

Hard to keep these things out of the press once they file.  From all accounts I would guess DM to go the same route.

I wonder what "this quarter's" IP protection actions will be.
