I know for sure that they have the ability for an audio file...to edit segments remove un wanted segments...splice in or edit in new segments..to an existing file....this is a big part of patent 5787445.....this along with other attributes would give them the whole voice recorder business...no one else can do it....you can inject notation...into a notation...and this to is patented.

There should be no reason for it not to work..., this feature would allow them to embed anything between file segments...be it the same type of file segment or different type of file segment...maybe a mix of audio and video...multimedia

They`ll be able to create all kinds of application because of this ability....it may have something to do with the security issue at hand.

And this happens on one strand of link list structure...imagine what they could do with many many strands utilizing the direction of an allocation table.

My god it`s unthinkable....the folks at MSFT and many others have got to be wanting this...and it`s patented

you could go in countless directions with it.
