To me, it's understandable that a trial effort would be pushed at e.Digitals expense. It may be that they have partnered with a particular company that came in on such an effort.

If so, wonder what concessions are extended...maybe lead manufacturer with a piece of all production?

They're not going to do it alone. A chain, at some point, will have to be organized and concessions made.
