SAN JOSE, Calif. — Fujitsu Ltd. said that the Tokyo District Court has upheld its claims of patent infringement in the suit brought against Nanya Technology Corp. Japan, a subsidiary of Taiwan's Nanya Technology Corp.

The court found that DRAM products sold by Nanya infringe upon Fujitsu patent rights, according to the Japanese company. The court granted an injunction against future import and sales of the infringing products, as well as compensation for past infringement, according to Fujitsu.

"We are pleased that the court has confirmed our patent rights as well as granted our claims regarding infringement, injunction and damages," said Masanobu Katoh, corporate vice president and president of the Law and Intellectual Property Unit of Fujitsu, in a statement.

In 2005, Fujitsu claimed that the Taiwanese company infringed its patented technology used to improve circuits that input data with address signals in DDR SDRAM memory
