I would anticipate that multiple lawsuits are filed simultaneously, maybe not the very first but on a follow up basis.

Your comment regarding each major industry hopefully is their initial target audience. A win here and there will prompt others to settle depending on the strength of the win and against what company.

If they filed each one in succession allowing a week in between, (174 companies and 1000+ products) think of the time element, could go on for years.

As to the amounts, the homework at DM will determine the suit, too high and the likelihood of an ongoing defense and even a trial, an equitable amount and we could see a reasonable settlement.

I'm for getting as you suggest a settlement in each major industry from a high profile player and then hope others will follow based on a favorable outcome with an Intel, Nokia, etc

Anxiously waiting for the initial communication from edig with reference to any action by DM.  A formal lawsuit will reveal the company and the amount, two critical elements of the long term strategy.
