For sure....this whole thing for me now comes down to what claims of infringement are revealed.

Will it be the intricate claims I point out, or the more broad aspects.

It won't take me long to figure out what they're after and how fervent they are.

IMO...the intricate claims hold the most promise. They sink a company like Sandisk touting Msystems offerings.

The translation layer of Msystems is the mainstay for most of the industry. Sandisk buying them up is for a reason.

The patented layer e.Digital sits on, could become the new standard when it comes to linear flash or any media needing linear management.

If this layer becomes a standard, e.Digital will have no problem enterprising in front of it, just as Msystems enterprises in front of its patented layer. TruFFS sits in front of patented FTL(flash translation layer)...They enterprise TruFFS while FTL is a standard offered to the industry free.
