re; previous post...my question
"What type of embedded memory is the Nucleus managing?"
Looks like NAND in this case....
"M-Systems and Accelerated Technology Team Up"
"porting M-Systems' patented TrueFFS flash management software to the Nucleus real-time operating system".... Trying to create a full flowing software solution to the memory.
DiskOnChip is made up of NAND flash components.

Think Msystems now Sandisk are involved with the Iphone?
Some ones layer is sitting in there somewhere, Nucleus is not a full solution.
As you can see here, Nucleus, requires a file/translation service of a company like Msystems.
If Sandisk is involved with the Iphone, they're being quiet about it....are they cheating on a serialized structured environment of NFTL (Nand flash translation layer).
There's still the question of the SIM card and what layer is managing it.
I'm focused on the SIM card environment.....however, there could be some cheating going on with what ever layer is sitting between Nucleus and the memory it manages.
