There is no way to lump all the infringers into a neat little scenario.

Consider this data from just 2005 alone:

"Apple has four strong businesses now. Apple sold 22 million iPods over the past year, compared with about 4 million desktop and portable Macs. iPod and music revenue contributed about $5.4 billion, compared with Macintosh revenues of $6.3 billion. Apple peripherals are now a $1 billion business as is Apple's software and services business."

Just naming a company with this type of brand name recognition vs a Vivitar yields an entirely different market interpretation. Don't you think the filing of a law suit against an Apple or company of similar magnitude equates into a completely different reaction? Now I am not saying Apple will even be named...that wasn't the point, but I am sure 4 years from now someone will make that accusation. I certainly hope Apple is on the list and common sense tells me they are but that remains to be seen.

Again, the market will decide how and when it reacts to DM/EDIG's claims. The Vivitar information remains mostly for "we "the people of EDIG" who follow the story closely. It strengthens our resolve for this investment to the point many of us bought a lot more this past week.

I suspect that if any of us were hearing this story for the first time today and then did some DD on the Blakeley era that we would find this a big buy at .20ish. Ultimately others will come along and see the opportunity of the risk/reward at play.

The ball remains in DM's court.....as Vivitar is digesting. We wait with grand anticipation for DM's next move.
