"I believe it will take the announcement of the next airline using the eVU and some sort of numbers associated -- like "we expect to implement 1234 units over the next X months" or "we will offer to customers on Y number of flights." Maybe this news will come in the expected biz update ("We have new orders totaling ABC"), maybe a direct PR naming an airline."

I hope not.....The information should be released on the 10-Q/10-K, but only in terms on total revenue, sales vs service, etc., and where required customer information. Any details should be as vague as allowed, keep the competition in the dark.

Why would you want to provide your competition with quantities, revenues, or other somewhat confidential information.

Providing shareholders with customer names on new orders and shipping/billing dates is fine, but specifics should not be disclosed.
