Arki - IMHO as RP stated long ago, and doni just reiterated... The more it comes down into the portable handheld relm, and independant of other 'bloat-ware,' the more MOS is/will shine.

MicroOS IMO is akin to 'instant-on' and is utilizing its cache editing scheme to nominalize battery use on everthing from start-up procedures to file sequencing on divx. - remember it shys away from needing any ROM to suck-up power and has a specific shortcut within its erase block procedure that calls for no resequencing.

I'd be interested in knowing if those Linux credintials on their hiring has gone into DP/eVU; it IMO has to have a minimal desktop-OS running atop it; maybe-maybe-not. Has anyone used a DP/eVU and can comment on its turn-on boot-up time and event switching. ?

As far as them doing a camera, we'll maybe oneday that could be, but DM is targeting companies whos existing substrate composition mimics our patents ie., doing our thing already. Therefore IMO the reference to 'licencing' our IP; turning blatent infriengment into settelments and/or ongoing partnerships prior to court-battles come into play. Then we could possibly share MicroOS vGooGooPlex with them to inhance any future products. DM needs a precident as has been stated and Vivitar could be it.

But hey - laptops/autos have internal flash/CF slots and even mics - so who knows.
