Cases were consolidated by the Presding Judge Patel and after some Law and Motion issue were cleaned up, they were sent to "ROCKET DOCKET" because of Judge WARD's justly acquired reputation and expertese in this area of the law...

PTSC's caase was set for trial in September, and at the request of the parties was put over to early 2008 the "MARKMAN HEARING" which was favorable to PTSC...

Although the win rate at trial for plaintiff is given at 33% in Texas Court, I have not seen any STATS as to how many of those went to trial with a favorable "Markman Hearing" results in their hands?...

You are right that "ROCKET DOCKET" is getting crowded. However, most of the delays are caused by motions filed by the parties, in these complex cases, posturing for delays to dicker on possible settlements. And as the Texas Court gets more crowded there would be more of these motions granted...
