After checking PACER again, I can't find any reference to an October 2007 pre-trial conference. The initial pre-trial conference was set for 8/22/07 but that conference was vacated (document 123 below). Though there is no mention of a new initial, pre-trial conference, a final pre-trial conference is scheduled for 12/15/2008 with the bench trial to begin 1/5/2009.
