I may be wrong but my understanding of what RP stated, "that the IP infringement has greatly expanded" was NOT because more companies had been identified that are using EDig's IP but because those that WERE identified were using, or basing, more of their base technology on EDig's technology. This is pretty well shown by the filing against Vivitar for infringing on 5 of EDig's patents, NOT JUST ONE. I would expect that to be the case in any future filings against other infringers.

It would seem to me (common sense) that DM would file first against those they feel they have the strongest case against. Most likely any infringer that can be shown to infringe on multiple EDig patents. I don't think we will see any filings against a company for infringing on only one EDig patent unless that company is very large and the evidence of their infringing is blatant.
