With the limited money that edig has they can't be ion everything thats why you let others use what you have provided that they do it legal and pay for the priveledge.  Large companies took advantage of the limited funds available to edig and bet that they can do what ever they wanted and not have to pay for the priviledge.

 They got caught with it and now its time for them to pay for the attept to screw EDIG out of their property rights.

There is an old expression"  If the courts screw you where do you go for justice".  How the decision goes in the courts will really say whether EDIG is going to go anywhere.  A patten was awarded them and now the big guys want to change the rules.  Our problem is that we have members of congress that goes along with that plot.  Just remember Napster.  We got screwed there to.  So did all those who thought they had intellectual property rights only to find out that others who had influence in congress saw differently.
