The same thnig could have been said about video tape recorders, laser discs, etc.

The original products were designed for the industrial market, then the consumer market got the product... in many cases with better features than the original product which was priced at 3 times or more of the new consumer price... when the products were made available to the consumer market.

Who knows what's in store for the future, and where the technology will take us?
