As far as I know, standard brokerage accounts cannot use stop loss orders on penny stocks. So, I wondered if you had a unique account.

The manipulation of small cap stocks (and others) continues to be subject of concern for the SEC. I'm just not so sure they really care.

Either way, there are always those times when news and emotion win the day.
