Hmmm...I know about client conflicts, but not much.
- If a major brand is also a mean ole copy cat and used DM two years ago for an unrelated event, does DM have to cut all ties to this major brand?
- If DM represented a mean ole copy cat 10 years ago do they have to send them a letter resigning? How does that work?
- Can DM just do nothing until they head in the direction of a current client or do they have to project out to cut ties with all the mean ole copy cats?
I certainly agree that DM's interest must be very strong or they would not willing to cut off all those billable hours. IMO, DM did their DD on the Wencor issues and choose to come on board. My guess is they like EDIG's chances as well. Of course, anything can happen in a court room.
