Vivitar Court Case

IMVHO - The legal ramifications of the DM suit (if Vivitar/'Syntax-Brilliant' goes down the tubes) will be that the boys in the 3-piece suits will vanish like a "puff of smoke". This appears to be a test case and even if DM did their DD, if the evidence does not meet the expectations as the lawyers present it, then it is a "lost cause" no matter how positive the suit appeared in the beginning of their case study. If the court rules against our IP, our ship is "dead in the water" without new evidence to support the patents and who really was out first with flash memory, etc. In the meantime, IFE sales are the only hope of having revenue to support additional legal efforts for any of the patent property that we do have in our portfolio of tricks (IP). It will take a lot of sales in a narrow market or a BIG legal splash to put the PPS where it needs to be to justify the years of patience I have invested. What's your opinion?
