I would also like to add we also had to put up with the cycle of battery backed RAM prior to NOR for about two years....where NOR latter came out as Strata flash....replacing the battery backed schemes.

NOR as Strataflash did not hold the position very long 4 years overlapping battery backed and the beginning stages of NAND as it gained in ability.  IMO...The Page from NAND is as fast as the direct execute of NOR.

 IMO....Norris/Daberko may be in line as the first to page from NAND in the manner they do,  allowing for their claim of high band width.
