To further clarify...the firmware is utilized for digital processes only...not for flashlights.

In the digital process the hardware of the firmware... Microcontroll/cache....is the main power burn....combined with the erase/read/write of the flash and clock scheme...all combine to eat the power.

In a flash light....the bulb is the burn at sized wattage....edig can not control the bulb element with a digital process.
