It is EDig's call to get any settlement UPFRONT. There will be no licenses for infringers....Perhaps for companies that are not infringers but wish to use EDig's IP. (Possibility but still a company that fits that description would be asked for a large UPFRONT fee)

That decision was made for a very simple reason. "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"....

Technology moves so fast that the MOS may be superfilous in a very short period of time.....

So EDig takes very little upfront from, say Intel.....with a license to use EDig's IP (MOS). Six months from now Intel, or anyone else for that matter, is able to create an operating system that is better, cheaper and widely available.

Gonzo the need for EDig's IP......No more fees because INtel will not be using the MOS......UPFRONT....;UPFRONT
