Yep, I believe DM and I believe Willy when they are stating their intention to move toward putting some cash in EDIG's little piggy bank from some of the 174 mean ole copy cats.  Nunnley identified them and DM probably decided which had the best chance of success. Makes sense.

When we first heard about the deal between DM and EDIG on 3/28/07 (http://www.edigital.com/EDIGPR03282007.htm); I spoke to our company's trademark attorney on another subject, but asked the same question.  He gave me the same answer...it is not common for patent firms to foot all of the legal expense up front.  In fact, (these are Beverly Hills lawyers) he told me his firm had NEVER done so, only partial expenses in turn for a higher % of the gross.  All they do is trademark and patent legal work.  He is the manageing partner and would know.

So, I believe you, LL, Gil and everyone else that has expressed what a big deal it is to have DM on such a contingency basis.  It is a big deal.

My question is the "WHEN?" part and we did get a bone thrown to us in the last PR -- only 11 days ago -- with:

...“Due to significant new and follow-on business opportunities and the associated travel involved, we are moving our shareholders meeting to next quarter,” added Blakeley. “Also, our intellectual property team is working to finalize the detailed legal and technical documentation necessary to support additional Flash-R™ patent portfolio enforcement actions against a group of companies who have over $20 billion in annual U.S. revenues derived from what we believe are infringing products.”...(http://www.edigital.com/EDIGPR14FEB2008.htm)

The pps is going to float until we have additional airlines or very solid news on the IP front.  I believe the above PR was a positive sign, but did not give enough detail for The Market to head over to Agoracom and check us out.  lol

I believe the market will wait until they see some solid results.  I'm betting (WAG) the numbers, new DM actions, and our legal issues will resolve in this callendar year.  We'll see.
