I'd have to say it doesn't hurt seeing billion dollar judgements/settlements going down on patent cases not entirely dissimilar to EDIG/DM's target markets....namely cell phones.

You'd have to think that the defendants will be keeping that in mind when they are in their negotiation mindset. It seems it would be to EDIG's advantage to see the cases go the distance before a jury...making early settlement that much more palatable to the defendants.

The bigger the awards the more likely future infringers would be motivated to settle...or so it seems.

How key are EDIG's Flash patents in an over $20 Billion ANNUAL market?

Nobody knows until the jury speaks or they settle to avoid the killer body blow.
