Someone help me out here. Judges who preside on cases involving highly technical and complex IP issues must rely upon disinterested experts who have such skills.....no? If not, how do these judges handle the vast variety of technical cases brought before them . I doubt they have the encyclopedic backgrounds necessary to deal with this stuff alone.
I'm sure the lawyers on this board know and will respond.
Failing that, I'll be forced to spend another night at a Holiday Inn Express.
