1. Perhaps they want to make a joint announcement. If the announcement is made by EDIG it's their equipment, then there could be a rush of other companies seeking to do business with EDIG thus reducing some of the potential revenue and sales Mezzo is expecting. Plus, there could be an 'exclusivity' agreement or non-competition clause in which Mezzo developed the improved product in conjunction with EDIG for the rights to me the exclusive provider of the improved player for a period of time.

2. Both companies (all exhibitors for that matter) at these shows spend a lot of time, effort and resources (and money) attending these shows and presenting their products. If either company announces earlier than the other, why bother going to the show? Additionally, the world Press attends these shows... you want as much exposure as possible rather than making an announcement on perhaps a day when the market is affected by yet another BSC or Oil futures going up. (and news having about as much effect as a 'methane emission' in a whirlwind to the stock price).

Those are but a few reasons why there is no announcement at this point. But putting the two statements together leads me to believe that the announcement is referencing EDIG. My money's on it.
