YOU SAY!?!...

"The key word that still gets me which I wish was more specific is "SYSTEM". "

Here is what Mezzo CEO says what their "SYSTEM" is...

"Mezzo, Portable IFE Specialist announced today that they would be launching a unique Portable IFE System at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg between April 1st and 3rd 2008."

“We have done substantial development work on the new Portable IFE System over the last year with our current clients,” comments Mezzo CEO Dave Sampson, “The essence of our Portable IFE System is reliability and flexibility. We are offering a range of new services within the system which represents a significant step forward for our Portable IFE offering in the areas of hardware, content, financing, servicing and integration. We offer airlines a wide choice of handsets to choose from and a new bespoke Asset Tracking service within the system which allows airlines to measure the performance and location of their handsets, batteries, chargers and carts in real time to minimise wastage, asset loss, unnecessary replacement costs and improve utilisation of their IFE resources. ”

Every one here is conjuring up a replacement to eVU and EDIG.!?

This is aburd, a no more than SELF-FALGELATION. Look people, I said it once I will say iy again:

1) MEZZO is still in the business of Portable IFE...

2) The "SYSTEM" they are talking about has nothing to do with what hardware they use; it is the comprehensive "TURN KEY" system comrised of "...hardware, content, financing, sevicing and integration" as described by Mezzo CEO.

LASTLY:

There is absolutely nothing in the March/ 19/ 08 or other statements made that justifies all this guess work about what HARDWARE Mezzo is going to use in their "System".

IS it possible that they may use some other hardware than eVU and its VARIANTS?, YES.

Is it probable that this may be the case as postulated here, NO.

GLTA...
