of the outcome with Mezzo's announcement, EDIG will be fine. If EDIG had announced a new customer I doubt it would have gotten this much concern. One way or the other all questions on this matter should be answered over the next two weeks.
The big news of recent has been Blakeley taking EDIG into the embedded market, and of course, DM's patent efforts. If he can leverage into that embedded market as he projects, we should continue to see revenues grow over time.
Customers come and go...just ask digecor as some of their old customers now utilize the eVU.
EDIG is supposed to announce some new portable eVU customers in the next two weeks, regardless of Mezzo's latest news release. For all we know they could be via the Mezzo connection.
It would be nice if the EDIG/MEZZO relationship continues to grow but it is not a critical piece of the equation imo.
I find it very exciting that EDIG is in the trenches seeking to do business on different layers of the IFE market and likely will unveil their embedded product in 10 days in Hamburg while their IP efforts continue to move forward tagging, to date, over $20 Billion in revenues from what they believe are infringing products. And that's just based on 10 companies of the over 174 targeted by DM and Pat Nunally.
