Mezzo announced today the opening of an Operations Centre in New Zealand from the 1st of April 2008 in order to offer airlines in Southeast Asia, Australasia and the South Pacific region local operations support when deploying Mezzo’s Portable IFE system.
Mezzo, the Portable IFE Specialist backed by Rolls – Royce Plc have based their Operations Centre in New Zealand to offer the same high levels of customer services in the Pacific Rim that their European customers such as Silverjet and more recently, VIP Charter Airline Titan Airways, value so highly.
Dave Sampson, Mezzo’s CEO and Chairman said, “We have had numerous approaches from airlines over the past 24 months from across the region. Now with the opening of this Operations Centre, Mezzo will be able to provide the highest quality customer service and most importantly, local operational support.
We don’t believe that any airline wants or should expect to have to deal with companies supplying Portable IFE that only offer technical support from a head office located in a completely different time zone. Mezzo’s New Zealand Office will be staffed by people trained at Mezzo Head Office who will be able to provide the full range of operational services in order to deploy Mezzo’s Portable IFE System immediately.
This is a significant undertaking for Mezzo and we will be giving the New Zealand Office a lot of support in the next couple of months. Customer sales will initially continue to be managed via Mezzo’s UK office. Please feel free to contact Dave Sampson directly at dave@mezzo.aero if you would like to meet with the Mezzo’s local New Zealand team.”
