Good find sman998. Pretty cool that one of the lawyers representing EDIG in the Nikon et al patent infringement case is also speaking at an upcoming Law Seminars workshop involving Patent Claim Construction. Suh-weeeet.
Duane Morris partner L. Norwood "Woody" Jameson will be a speaker at a Law Seminars International workshop, "Patent Claim Construction," to be held on April 25, 2008, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta. Mr. Jameson will take part in a demonstration Markman hearing.
Given that a favorable Markman hearing in the EDIG v Vivitar case is not proof that Vivitar actually infringed on our patents, it will pave the way for a settlement or victory in all other cases. I just have a lot of confidenc in Pat Nunally's due diligence in finding infringers and in Duane Morris' due diligence in taking our IP fight on a contingency basis. Especially when you remember that Pat Nunally was the researcher on PTSC's infringement cases, which turned out awesome for them. Nunally sure earned his pay with PTSC.
