Broadband to blame

GRAVEL-VOICED CROONER, Elvis Costello, announced the imminent demise of the record retail business in an interview conducted at the South By Southwest Music Conference and Festival in Texas last week.
During an interview with MTV Networks, Costello predicted the Interweb would kill the record business as we know it.
``As soon as broadband is big enough, the record business is over,`` the bespectacled one said. ``They will have to change or die... It`s going to be about five minutes to the end. All bets are off.``
