I had a long conversation with RP about this subject a few months ago and he informed me (AT THAT TIME) that Edig was waiting for the SEC to permit companies to file their proxy statements ELECTRONICALLY and not have the expense of printing and mailing them out. At that point the date of the shareholders meeting would be announced. I don't remember the exact date/dates he gave me but I seem to remember that he had the expectation of around December 2007 for something from the SEC.
Obviously that has not occurred yet or if it has we do not know of it, or if it has been approved to do so EDig has simply not been ready for a shareholders meeting.
The way he explained it made complete sense to me. To print and mail, as had normally been done in the past would cost EDig a huge sum, (thousands) for them anyway, so to file electronically would be a big money saver.
By the way a proxy statement is really nothing more than signing your voting power to the company (EDig) to vote your shares the manner they wish, if you do not physically attend the meeting and are not able to vote in person.
