For e.Digitals nonvolatile tech, like I commented in many prior posts, it does not matter what the physical mechanics are of the memory.
As the memories get better, e.digitals logic, API and cache principles will still be just as important. If the new memories are efficient at XIP....e.Digital can get rid of the cache. If the new memories are more efficent with regard to cell life, e.digitals work space management within the memory will be that much more important.
It does not matter
For e.Digital now, it's the serial mechanics of NAND flash that they give great benefit.
