It was a joke! One of Jack Benny`s most famous ``running gags`` was proclaiming that he was 39 years old, year after year after year, for like 20 years.... Hence the ``Slack Benny`` sign-off. Being on the brink of the ``Big Five-Oh (NO!)``, I`m very concious....and considering adopting his approach (after all, I could pass for 39, right?! Now be nice! LOL I know you`re up on me there since you got carded recently!).
