NAND flash...

IMO, The ding dongs that comment on CNBC follow the commentary of the edig boards...

NAND flash is all the rage....if it weren't for the edig boards and the commentary of comparing memory aspects, no one would know the difference or care and the CNBC characters would not be using the "NAND" verbiage in front of the flash word. They never use to make such distinctions, now they do, who are they handing the NAND verbiage to?...lol

One character just recently reported a shift in manufacturing from, NAND flash, over supply......to, DRAM, under supply....what a dork. They may be upping the DRAM manufacturing....however, it's not a shift from one technology to the other. For that, this characters suggestion of an investment play move is crud. There is no reason to drop a Sandisk type company and buy a DRAM manufacturer... unless you're a trader following the words of a dork....for that, hope you get burned.

NAND flash and DRAM are two distinctly different matrix makeups. They service two different aspects of computing. For the most part, both are present in devices at the same time, for that, they will manufacture at somewhat the same pace.
