Thanks. Given the fact that eastern TX is the "Rocket Docket", perhaps DM/EDIG feel the Court will likely move the date up, and that's why they agreed to the May 2010 date. I was pretty shocked to see it so far out and knew it wouldn't be well received here.

On the other hand, if DM/EDIG did feel the May 2010 date would be granted, that means that DM has a lot of confidence in EDIG's patents. To work on contingency for 3+ years means they feel their case is bulletproof (OK LL, how about...waterproof. LOL).

I'll do some PACER research over the weekend on when PTSC's eastern TX Markman Hearing date was proposed and when it was actually held. Could give us some insight on EDIG's case.
