I think you'd be surprised as to how powerful the chatrooms can be for new investors. Penny stocks rarely get high profile exposure that draws wallstreet interest. The chatrooms are the virtually the first line of information to check the pulse of a penny stock since these small companies have no institutional representation or analyst coverage.
Yes there are microcap funds and they will participate once they see volume spikes and it begins to snowball....and I suspect many will get directed to this forum. I was there at RB when the EDIG board was just started with very few participants....it didn't take long for things to mushroom for an unknown company in an unknown chatroom....voila the internet.
And I think Agora is a growing forum that is far more legitimate than RB or ihub....the latter both are virtually zero sources of investor insight. They are merely street brawls and shouting matches.
Should EDIG release any news of significance it won't take long for Agora to light up as a key forum for new investors seeking information beyond the press releases.
